This books tells about how we teach children to talk at the Moog Center and at other Certified Moog Programs. It presents a way of thinking about teaching deaf children to talk. In this book, we explain our philosophy and provide overall guidelines to help teachers decide what to teach, and how and when to teach it. A major focus is on the "how to" for a variety of language activities, including many sample lessons as well as ideas and resources for other activities. Teaching Activities is intended to be used by teachers as a practical guide to teaching children who are deaf and hard of hearing to talk.

A very practical book that goes in-depth about foundational activities every Deaf Ed teacher should be doing - not only the how but also the why and when of each of these basic activities.
