My Baby and Me has been written for parents and families of young children who are deaf or hard of hearing and for professionals helping these parents. Developed with the comments and guidance of many parents of children who are deaf or hard of hearing - it offers strategies and techniques for helping children develop spoken language skills, ideas and suggestions for language learning activities, and also answers questions about hearing and hearing loss. It provides parents with spaces for taking notes as well as a variety of invaluable resources. My Baby and Me is organized in a convenient binder format, which gives parents places to collect and store medical information, reports and other information about their child. The book can be personalized throughout for a particular family using the child's name. A generic "Your Child" version is available for professionals who use My Baby and Me as a part of their Parent-Infant curriculum.
